New Factory Construction Update – January

The past month and a half has seen a great deal of progress on the construction of Norplex-Micarta’s new Changzhou manufacturing facility. The majority of the equipment, which arrived on site back in November, has been installed. Workers are currently assembling the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) and moving the equipment to their final positions on the factory floor.

“We are very pleased with the current pace of the construction work, especially during these cold months. All those involved in the project will work swiftly and safely in the coming weeks in order to make good progress before the New Year holiday,” said Bob Huang, project manager.

In the upcoming weeks, workers will install ductwork in the factory structure. In addition, electricity, water and other basic utilities will be activated.
