China National Standard (GB)
China National Standarad can be divided mendatory standard (GB) and voluntary standard (GB/T) . The serial number of National Standard consists of code of National Standard, sequence number and year of National Standard release. Mandatory Standard (GB) is executed mandatorily by the national standard for protecting human health, personal and property safety; Voluntary Standard (GB/T) is a natioanl standard adopted voluntarily by economic instruments or market regulation for manufacture, inspection and utilization ect. However, once Voluntary Standard is accepted and adopted, or all parties agree to bring it into commercial contract, it becomes techinical basis which all parites shall comply with and also have legal binding force.
Some products of Norplex-Micarta are tested to Voluntary Standard (GB/T).
