Bearings

Thermoset composites are used to replace metal bearing to eliminate bonding that occurs between metal bearings and shaft under extreme heat and pressure. In addition to improving abrasion resistance, Norplex-Micarta materials exhibit excellent PV (Pressure and Velocity) loading capability.

BR60

BR60 consists of multiple plies of heavy-weight canvas cloth saturated with phenolic resin system.

BR70

BR70 consists of multiple plies of heavy-weight canvas cloth saturated with phenolic resin system modified with alumina, which adds hardness to the bearing to reduce wear.

MC223

MC223 is a medium-weave cotton phenolic composite specifically formulated to meet MIL-P-18324 requirements.

MC320LE

MC320LE (NEMA LE) is composed of a fine-weave bleached cotton fabric combined with a phenolic resin system.

RT193PM

RT193PM's substrate is composed of a hybrid aramid material that is stronger than pure aramid.

RT511

It is manufactured using a course weave glass fabric reinforcement combined with a high temperature epoxy resin system.

RTB320

It is composed of fine weave cotton cloth reinforcement combined with a phenolic resin system.

RTB320X

It is composed of an extra fine woven cotton fabric and of a phenolic resin system.

RTB320Z

It is composed of an extra fine weave woven cotton fabric with a phenolic resin system.

RTB326

It is a composite of a bleached, fine weave cotton reinforcement combined with an epoxy resin system.

RTB326X

RTB326X is composed of an extra-fine weave woven cotton fabric combined with an epoxy resin system to produce a tube product that has superior machining capability with smooth, fiber free surface. Typical uses could include retainers for ball-bearing and applications that require fne machining

characteristics. RTB326X also complies with ASTM F3131.
