It is an improved machining grade meeting NEMA XX and MIL-I-24768/11, Type PBG for tubes.

RM629 (NEMA XX) is a thermoset molded composite consisting of an electrical grade of paper reinforcement combined with a phenolic resin system.  

NP629B is paper phenolic pre-preg that provides good machining properties and fair mechanical strength when molded under heat and pressure 

NP629 (NEMA XX) is a paper based phenolic that is a machining grade with less robust electrical properties than those of NP630.
