Paper based materials have several advantages such as: easily machined or punched, good electrical insulator and relatively low cost. When compared with other substrates, paper based materials generally are more flammable and have lower strength. Applications are generally high volume with lower structural requirement such as punched parts, panel boards and various electrical insulation applications.
