New Factory Construction Progress – June

The month of June was a busy time on the construction site of Norplex-Micarta’s new factory in Changzhou. All temporary utilities have been connected and the temporary facilities have been completed on schedule.

“The plum rains have begun, but we will still strive to establish an excellent construction site. Our continued focus will be on safety, quality, and maintaining the schedule so that we can meet our customers’ expectations,” said Bob Huang, Project Manager.

Suzhou Number One Construction Group has been selected as the General Contractor, and Dongsheng has been appointed as the JianLi. The required government project approvals are also underway.

“The Changzhou Government has continued to give us great support. We are pleased to have this project moving so fast,” said Dustin Davis, General Manager.

While the rainy season will cause some site work to be slowed, this was already considered in the overall schedule. Customers are invited to check our website often for further updates on the construction progress.
